Harmonising the Water Framework Directive in the Nordic countries

The nordic countries - Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway - join forces to harmonize and operationalize the implementation of the Water Framework Directive in the Nordic countries.
Two workshops has so far been held:

 1st workshop on Harmonisation and operalisation of the Water Framework Directive in the Nordic countries (Brekstad, Norway, May 08)  

 2nd workshop on Harmonisation and realisation of the Water Framework Directive in the Nordic countries with emphasis on lakes/rivers and heavily modified water bodies (Helsinki, Finland, Oct 09)

A third workshop is planned for 2010.
